The situation in this problem is that there are several facts presented to you about different people in the problem that allow you to solve the question "Who keeps the fish?". This is what the problem is asking you to find. Out of all the people in this neighborhood, which is the one that has the pet fish? My group and I started exploring this problem by first looking at the facts presented in the problem. We then created a chart that we were able to fill out using the information given to us. Once you find out certain pieces of information, it allows you to make assumptions about other information that is not explicitly stated in the problem.
